Beaverdale Farmers Market welcomes Ed Kelly and the Piranha Bros. back for tunes from Irish Pub to classic rock and pop. Step into Swing will demonstrate fun steps, too.
Featured vendors this week bring vegetables, flowers and fruits, especially lemons, to the market each week.
Pucker Up and Squeeze Me
Andre, a Louisiana native, moved to Iowa in 2014 to live near a family farm. He sells just one product through Pucker Up and Squeeze Me, and that is a cold, fresh glass of lemonade, fresh-squeezed and made to order.
Andre says, “I love being at the farmers markets. There is always great food, music, fresh produce, and wonderful people.”
Watch him in action on his Facebook page video.
Ali Family Garden
The Ali family moved to Iowa from Sudan some years ago. They’ve been produce vendors at Beaverdale Farmers Market for many years, and their booth is full of bright colors. Depending on the time of the season, you might find asparagus, berries, peppers, squash, and many other vegetables and flowers.
Ali Family Garden accepts Double Up Food Bucks, as do most of the market produce vendors.
