Press Release for Beaverdale Living Magazine – Beaverdale Farmers Market New Location

It’s farmers market season, and Beaverdale is in the metro market mix for a second year. The Beaverdale Farmers Market opens Tuesday, June 4 at a new location: 3422 Beaver Avenue, with easy access and generous parking. The market will be open every Tuesday from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. through September 17.

In addition to more than 40 vendors, visitors are treated to live music, activities and prizes each week.   From fresh, local produce, baked goods and handmade crafts, to prepared foods such as gyros, pupusas, and kettle corn, we’ve got great variety and quality.  The Beaverdale Farmers Market is FMNP approved, so participating vendors can accept WIC and senior vouchers.

Market vendors and musical talent are also listed online.  The Beaverdale Betterment Coalition and Boesen the Florist are primary partners for the 2013 market, and many community groups will be represented.

  1. Quick note…there is a typo with pupusas. The second letter is a U not an A. Please correct. Not meant as a nag, just want to make sure something that is not common for most Iowans is spelled correctly and as a respect to your Salvadorian vendor.

    • Thank you, Susie! So glad you caught that. We will make the necessary edits throughout our communications!
Have a great Day and we hope to see you in Beaverdale next Tuesday! 🙂
