Asphalt & Stained Glass kicks off Beaverdale Farmers Market’s 2016 season on Tuesday, June 7. The band plays an eclectic set of blues-colored pop , rock, jazz, folk and country rock with a mix of guitars, horns, keyboard, drums and harmonies.
Asphalt & Stained Glass has performed every year at the market. This year the band will be situated on 42nd Street, west of the Acanthus Lodge parking lot. We’ll have tables and chairs set up for visitors to relax and listen to music while enjoying beverages and food from market vendors.
Market-goers can park in the Acanthus Lodge and Holy Trinity Church parking lots, entering from Beaver Avenue. Urbandale Avenue will close at 3:00 p.m. for set-up, and market hours are 4:30-7:30 p.m. Around 40 vendors will have produce, baked goods, prepared food and beverages, crafts, and lots more.
